Horry County's second reading (this meeting on May 6, 2025) of the request is this public hearing where public input is accepted. The third reading is the final reading of Horry County City Council and then the rezoning is considered complete.
For this particular rezoning request, the first Horry County Planning Commission Hearing was held on March 25, 2025, the second Horry County Planing Commission Meeting was held on April 3, 2025, and the first Horry County City Council reading on this occurred on April 15, 2025. After this public comment hearing on May 6, 2025, the consent agenda hearing will be held on May 20, 2025.
